DIY FANATIC SHOWS HOW SHE TRANSFORMED 'TIRED' WHITE RADIATOR WITH BLACK PAINT

We all have radiators in our homes to help warm up our surroundings during the winter months.

However, most of us probably don't really pay attention to them or make a big feature out of them.

If that's you, then you may want to take inspiration from one DIY fan, named Julia, who completely transformed her 'tired' white radiator by painting it black.

The interior transformation was revealed on TikTok by account @frenchicpaint as they showed how the small change made the room look completely different.

A video started off showing the plain white radiator, located in Julia's hallway, before the transformation. Overlay text read: "One small change..."

The 'after' look was then revealed as the radiator was shown completely black and looking stylish in the modern hallway. The words: "Makes a huge difference," were then splashed across the screen.

The rest of the clip showed Julia during the transformation as she got to work painting the radiator black. She was also seen spraying the radiator grills out in the garden on a piece of cardboard, so as to not stain anything.

Finally, Julia decorated the space around the radiator to give the whole hallway a refresh, as she was seen laying down a rug, and placing a candle and a plant on the shelf above it.

The caption for the video read: "Now is the perfect time to give your radiator the revamp it deserves! Whether you're looking to add an injection of colour, create a focal point or blend your radiator into your chosen colour scheme, it's easy with Frenchic.

"Frenchic Fan Julia shows us how one small change can make the biggest difference as she transformed her hallway radiator from tired to trendy using our true black shade 'Blackjack' from the self priming and self sealing Al Fresco Inside/ Outside Range."

They added: "For radiators, we recommend (for a flat matte finish) Al Fresco or Chalk Wall Paint or if (for a subtle satin finish) our Trim Paint range. Almost all modern radiators are powder-coated metal meaning they are suitable for these paints without the need to prime."

People were loving the DIY transformation, with the video racking up hundreds of likes. One branded the finished result "lovely", while someone else who clearly wanted to do the transformation themselves added: "Omg please tell me how you get those tops off please I’ve got the same ones but don’t how to take top off."
