The new plug-in hybrid Bentley Continental GT Speed of 2025, the fourth generation of the iconic model, promises to be the most powerful car ever made by the English brand.

Introducing new technologies, the car will offer power and luxury. Its base is a redesigned 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 with 584 hp that now features single-scroll turbochargers, which are more powerful and more durable than the twin-scroll ones.
A single 187 hp electric motor is applied, housed within the transmission to ensure that electric power is available and applied even during gear changes, and a 25.9 kWh battery that allows a range of 81 km.
This results in acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h. The system includes an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and an eLSD, ensuring exceptional power delivery and traction.
On the exterior, the highlight is the single headlight, something Bentley hasn’t done since 1959, while the rear lights are more elongated and feature jewel-like LED graphics. Inside, the design looks the same, but the focus has been on the quantity and sophistication of the technology offered.
“The Speed embodies the best of the Conti GT. The Continental GT is the core of the Bentley brand and the Speed is the core of the GT brand. We have to be bold,” said Ian Hoban, Chief Product Strategy & Delivery Officer, in conversation with CAR Magazine.
Deliveries of the GT Speed model will begin in September in the UK, arriving a little later in the North American and Chinese markets. And, according to a report from the site CAR Magazine, other derivatives may be launched from 2025.
