BUGATTI TESTS THE BOLIDE SUPERCAR AND PROMISES FORMULA 1 POWER

Bugatti has completed production testing of the Bolide, its track-exclusive hypercar, which promises impressive performance thanks to its over 1,500 horsepower from a W-16 engine and significant weight reduction.

Although Formula 1 cars have a significant weight advantage, Bugatti suggests that the Bolide could outperform them in corner exits, offering an unparalleled driving experience.

Bugatti driver Andy Wallace describes the performance of the Bolide as exceptional, providing an unstoppable power sensation coming out of corners. With a power output of 1,578 horsepower, the Bolide is capable of reaching impressive speeds, rivaling Formula 1 cars in certain racing scenarios.

However, the production version is more subdued than the initial concept, with a top speed limited to just under 380 km/h and a greater focus on maneuverability in corners.

Despite being an elite track supercar, the Bolide is priced at $4 million and limited to just 40 units, so it is likely that many will end up in luxury car collections, rather than taking on the curves on a track.
